1. Acceptance of terms

By booking a course or using this website you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Company details

3. Description of the offer

We offer three self-defense courses as described on our Courses page: Family Safety Saturday, Four Winds Fundamentals and the True North Program, each with the scope, duration and price shown there.

4. Eligibility / user obligations

Students must meet the audience guidance given for each course (for example, children in Family Safety Saturday must attend with a parent or guardian) and should let us know of any injury or condition relevant to safe participation.

5. Bookings and payment

Course places are confirmed once payment is arranged. Prices are shown in Canadian dollars on the Courses page. See Payment & Refund Policy and Cancellation Policy below, and our longer Booking Terms page.

6. Intellectual property

The Kettlewind name, course materials and site content belong to Tactical Taekwondo Limited and may not be reproduced without permission.

7. Acceptable use

Students are expected to treat instructors and fellow students respectfully; conduct that puts others at risk may result in a session being ended without a refund for that session.

8. Disclaimer

General information. Content on this site is provided by Tactical Taekwondo Limited for general informational purposes about our courses.

Not professional advice. Nothing on this site or taught in our courses is a substitute for individual professional advice relevant to your own circumstances.

Accuracy & availability. We take reasonable care to keep course details accurate, but course content, schedules and prices may change; the scope confirmed at booking applies.

No promised outcomes. Movement and awareness skills develop with individual practice; we do not promise a specific outcome or level of ability from any course.

Limitation of liability. To the extent permitted by Manitoba law, Tactical Taekwondo Limited is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this site or participation in a course, beyond what the law requires.

9. Payment & Refund Policy

Scope. This policy covers payments made for any of our three listed courses.

Eligibility. A full refund is available if you cancel at least 7 days before a Family Safety Saturday date, or before the second session of Fundamentals or True North. Requests after that point are handled under our Cancellation Policy below.

How to request. Email [email protected] or call +1 204-261-0174 with your name and course.

Processing. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Non-refundable cases. Missed sessions after a course has started, and requests made after the eligibility window above, are not refundable but may be eligible for rescheduling under our Booking Terms. See also our full Refunds & Cancellation page.

10. Cancellation Policy

How to cancel. Contact us by email or phone during Monday – Saturday, 14:00–20:30.

Cancellation windows. Cancelling 7 or more days ahead qualifies for a full refund; cancelling within 7 days is handled case by case and may be offered as a reschedule instead.

Rescheduling. We would rather move your spot to another date than lose it entirely — ask about rescheduling before cancelling.

Cancellations by us. If we cancel a session for capacity or unforeseen reasons, you receive a full refund or a rebooking at no extra cost.

This site may link to third-party resources; we are not responsible for their content.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Manitoba and the laws of Canada applicable within it.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time; the date above shows the last revision.
