Kettlewind

Our Courses

Three ways to train with Kettlewind in Winnipeg, from a single family Saturday to a six-month programme.

Family Safety Saturday

A relaxed half-day for households to learn together: awareness when out as a family, agreeing on meeting points, calm ways to say no and a couple of simple releases practised in pairs.

Who it's for: Households of up to 4 members; children 10+ with a parent or guardian.

Duration: One Saturday, 4 hours; priced per household.

  • Family safety plan worksheet

Households

Family Safety Saturday suits parents who want a shared vocabulary for staying aware together, without turning the day into a drill.

First-time students

Four Winds Fundamentals starts from zero and builds week by week, no prior training expected, with every new movement shown before it's practised.

Returning learners

True North is built for Fundamentals graduates or anyone with a prior movement background who wants more depth and a longer season of practice.

True North is not a fit for a first lesson ever — new students start with Fundamentals or a Family Saturday instead, then move up once the basics feel familiar.

W·PRICING

About pricing

Listed prices cover the full course as described, including the inclusions noted above. Family Safety Saturday is a single per-household price; Fundamentals and True North are billed once for the full term rather than per class. Any change to scope — adding private hours, for example — is confirmed with you before it is booked.

NW·COVERS

What is not included

Personal protective gear beyond the loaner set, transport, and any uniform beyond the True North training shirt sit outside the listed price. Students are welcome to bring their own gear if they prefer it to the loaner set.

N·ABOUT

Who you'll train with

Classes are taught by instructors trained in recognised taekwondo curricula, working from a single Winnipeg location with small group sizes so corrections happen one student at a time rather than from the front of the room. Both instructors teach every week, so the same two people see a student's progress from the first session through to the last one, and can flag when it's time to think about moving from Fundamentals into True North.
