Booking Terms

1. Scope

These Booking Terms set out how enrolment, rescheduling, missed sessions, conduct and instructor substitution work for Family Safety Saturday, Four Winds Fundamentals and the True North Program.

3. How booking works

A booking is confirmed once you have told us the course you want and payment has been arranged. We send back the next available start date and any gear notes before your place is held.

4. Rescheduling

If a confirmed date no longer works, tell us as early as you can. Family Safety Saturday households may move to another Saturday subject to space; Fundamentals and True North students may move to the next intake if a scheduling conflict comes up before the course starts.

5. Missed sessions

Fundamentals and True North follow a fixed weekly plan. A missed session is not individually refunded, but weekly theme notes are shared so a missed topic can be caught up in your own time.

6. Class conduct

All students and accompanying family members are expected to follow instructor guidance on the mats and treat others respectfully. Conduct that puts someone at risk may end a session early without a refund for that session.

7. Waivers

Before a first session, students (or a parent/guardian for minors in Family Safety Saturday) complete a short participation waiver describing the physical nature of the activity and asking about any relevant injury or condition. The waiver does not remove your consumer rights under Manitoba law; it simply confirms you understand the course involves movement practice.

8. Instructor substitution

Where the usual instructor is unavailable, a qualified substitute from our team may lead a session so your course stays on schedule. We will let you know in advance where possible.
